Smiles for you....

Everyone is born with their own little personalities. My oldest son was born happy and smiling and he still is. My second son was more serious.... so we play this game I call "smile therapy". We sit and stare at each other while smiling, then we usually end up in laughing fits. Plus we have smile contests, which ever one stops smiling first does the dishes ;) Now, I even catch him smiling when he doesn't know i'm looking. Smiling is good for the soul. And sometimes when he is arguing with me, as most kids do. I tell him looks like we need to do a smile therapy, he then starts to smile and laugh right away, saying no way, but it already worked and it totally changes the mood. I know he’s finally getting it because the other day he was telling me all about inner beauty and how the ugliest person in the world could be the most beautiful when smiling. This made me smile. He went on to explain that there this pretty girl in his class but he finds her not so pretty because she doesn't smile. I said to him “so why don't you smile at her” she just might smile back. He came back the next day and told me it worked as he gave me a big smile ;)

Have a wonderful weekend, and don't forget to smile at someone, its contagious!
Sharing a smile is like spreading joy!

Unconditional Love....

what love is suppose to be like? ….This is a text quote taken from a movie I watched recently with my son.. “Stardust”…(it’s the story of a fallen star and how she finds true love)

"You know when I said I knew little about love? That wasn't true. I know a lot about love. I've seen it, centuries and centuries of it, and it was the only thing that made watching your world bearable. All those wars. Pain, lies, hate... It made me want to turn away and never look down again. But when I see the way that mankind loves... You could search to the furthest reaches of the universe and never find anything more beautiful. So yes, I know that love is unconditional. But I also know that it can be unpredictable, unexpected, uncontrollable, unbearable and strangely easy to mistake for loathing, and... What I'm trying to say, Tristan is... I think I love you. Is this love, Tristan? I never imagined I'd know it for myself. My heart... It feels like my chest can barely contain it. Like it's trying to escape because it doesn't belong to me any more. It belongs to you. And if you wanted it, I'd wish for nothing in exchange - no fits. No goods. No demonstrations of devotion. Nothing but knowing you loved me too. Just your heart, in exchange for mine."
---------------------------------------------------------
I thought that was a pretty powerful text…. With that I came to also conclude the following insights;
My interpretation of “Unconditional Love”…. When you realize the conditions that you are putting onto others or others putting on you…can you then begin to make them unconditional, the conditions occur as tests to obtain this next level of expansion. “Un” … means “one” in French, for love to truly be unconditional it takes much practice, an open heart, and much vision to see where we are putting on conditions on our loved ones, friends, family, nations etc… and to go beyond the hurts and pains in order to obtain inner peace, for when one is at peace there are no conditions but the pureness of the present moment…. This is what we are all here to learn. If it was easy to do, the whole world would be “one” and at peace….

So to reach unconditional love you have to do the opposite first, that is to see the conditions, to go beyond them. This I have learned this by allowing myself to feel the pain of such limits head-on as oppose to suppressing it…. In truly feeling this pain can one discovered its insights….by listening to its messages. To allow oneself to truly feel is a gift that takes much courage. To err is human, to learn from our ways is wisdom, and to forgive is purely divine! Love is the thread that keeps us together…what are you weaving!

Then I received this quote from my sister (by an unmanned author)
"God doesn't give you the people you want, He gives you the people you NEED. To help you, to guide you, to hurt you, to leave you, to love you and to make you into the person you were meant to be."

Therefore my conclusion to all the above is simply “LOVE YOU”!!!!!
Love yourself....That is the bases of unconditional love

I realize that this might all be a bit much to grasp, but if this insight can give even just one of you and another insight, then it was well worth the share...
