Released form the frozen lake...

Ever wonder what happened to the sinking fishing shack ( see picture below of a previous psot)that sunk during our resent mild weather meltdown. The owners, used a chain saw to release from the ice last week. They got it out just in time…for with the extreme cold weather that we have been having in the last few days would of made it impossible to release the shack and would have had to remain frozen in the ice until the spring. It’s a good ending for this shack and the fisherman after all!

Its snowing again today....

It’s snowing again, in the Montreal and suburb areas…light snow is expected to last all day. 1 to 3 cm of snow are expected, but by the way it’s coming down, I suspect it will be more. The rest of the week calls for partly sunny and cloudy variable skies.
Yesterday was extremely cold, down to – 23 but felt like minus 30. Today’s snowfall has brought mild winter temperature. Right now it’s – 9, and it is expected to be remain in the low minus numbers (- 6 to – 9) for the rest of the week. The next snowfall is only predicted for upcoming weekend.

Winter Meltdown in Québec...weather watch report

I still had plenty more of snow storm pictures to post...but in the last 2 days we have had alot of rain....its been very mild too (compared to the -20 of last week) so much of the snow has melted down....the mild conditions and the rain has caused much fog all day long....so you can say that we have been in the fog for the last few days...and this is my weather report ...directly from Hudson, Québec

10 years ago at this very time we had an ice storm, now a meltdown!!!!!
